Litting hip (hip-desarticulation)
Litting hip is a new option for hip-disarticulations offering a carbon energy storing suspension, a new concept for the hip-disarticulation patient´s movement.
The energy produced by flexion during the loading phase it´s stored and gathered by the composite structure.
Changing the amount of pelvic impulse in the swing phase, the patient can set free the stored energy progressively and this way improve the knee´s control. This action produces a controlled dorsal flexion, reducing effectively the prosthesis length, enhancing the swing phase.
With the Litting hip system, you can now achieve the right prothesis, completely eliminating the trendelenburg march.
